ANIMOVIBE creates hand-stitched leather watch straps in our Guangzhou studio. Contrasting leather panels, visible waxed-thread stitching and distinctive details give each design its character.
Every strap is made after an order is placed.
Vegetable-Tanned Cowhide
We use vegetable-tanned cowhide for both the outer leather and the inner layer that rests against your wrist.
Different designs use different selections of cowhide, creating variations in colour, texture and overall appearance. Natural grain and small surface variations are part of the material—not a printed pattern repeated on every strap.
With use, leather may soften and develop changes in tone and surface character. How it ages depends on wear, moisture, sunlight and care.
Visible Stitching. Made by Hand.
We use waxed thread to stitch the leather panels and edges by hand.
The contrasting stitches are an intentional part of the design: they highlight the joins between colours and make the construction visible.
Small differences in stitch placement and tension reflect the hand-making process. They do not mean that loose stitching or insecure components should be considered acceptable.

The Glass Eye
Our eye detail is made from glass and secured in place using adhesive.
Its reflective surface gives the design depth, while the eye motif offers space for a personal meaning. It is a decorative glass element—not a natural cat’s-eye gemstone.
Avoid knocks, prolonged moisture and pulling at the setting to help protect the assembly.

From Leather to Finished Strap
Each strap passes through a hands-on process:
Select: Choose the leather and components for the design.
Cut: Cut the individual leather sections.
Punch: Prepare the stitching holes.
Stitch: Join and finish the leather using waxed thread.
Assemble: Fit the glass detail, decorations and hardware.
Check: Inspect the completed strap before packing.
Made After You Choose
We do not keep finished straps in stock. Production begins after your order has been confirmed.
This makes your choice of design, eye colour, connector and wrist fit part of the making process.
